Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress who is well-known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre area with Li'l abner's in 1957. In the same year, she released Her first album, It's time for Tina. Louise first made it to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre a 1957 drama film. This film became an enormous success and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship to Lee Strasberg. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career with ease in between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she has also become a renowned director on popular TV programs like Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and is a resident of Vancouver ever since.
