Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman (Janurary 28th, 1998) in Los Angeles California is an American actor, singer and voice-actor. Ariel started her acting career at an early age. Ariel was featured in the Cool Whip ad when she was just 6 years old. Her first TV role at age 7 appearing on an episode of CBS show Listen Up!. In the following years she was a part of such shows as Monk Bones or ER. In 2007 was cast in the character of Gretchen in the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. In 2007, she was cast in her first live-action part in the role of Alex Dunphy, on the famous television show Modern Family. Alongside the other cast members from Modern Family she received the Screen Actors Guild Award in the past four years for the Best Ensemble Comedy Series.
