Sharon Lawrence

Sharon Elizabeth Lawrence, an American actor and singer most well-known for her role as Sylvia Costas in the award-winning show "NYPD Blue", is an actor, dancer, and a vocalist. Since she was a child, she's always been fascinated by dance and acting. Her family was an oral storyteller's family, with her father was a theatre teacher and performed in it. She was the very first member of her family who turned their talents into a business. In Raleigh she graduated from her formal education and began an acting professional.
