sylvester stallone-4-1024x1024Stallone was born in a charity hospital in New York's Hell's Kitchen. The birth of Stallone was complicated by forceps injuries that caused a trauma to a facial nerve. It left him with a droopy eyelid and speech difficulties. Stallone was a part of his early years in boarding care. He returned to his family when he was five and was able to move with them to Maryland. Stallone initially resided with his father following his parents' divorce in 1957, however, at the age of 15 , he was reunited with his newly married mother in Philadelphia. Due to his previous history of being kicked out of school, he went to an institution for troubled teens.
